deltaVision Raises €10.2M to Build the Fluid Infrastructure for Orbital Refuelling

Satellites are becoming reusable and serviceable. The missing layer is the infrastructure required to move propellant safely between them.
Munich-based deltaVision has raised €10.2 million in its first funding round to expand production of spacecraft fluid-control systems and accelerate its orbital refuelling technology.
The round was led by KT Ventures and Valemount Capital, with participation from Futury Capital, private industrial family offices and investors through a newly created investment vehicle.
From critical components to refuelling systems
Founded in 2022, deltaVision manufactures valves, pumps, pressure regulators and related systems that control propellants, pressurants and other fluids inside satellites, launch vehicles, lunar landers and servicing spacecraft.
These components are physically small but mission-critical. A failed valve or regulator can prevent a spacecraft from maintaining pressure, controlling propulsion or completing a maneuver.
deltaVision is addressing a supply bottleneck by increasing production while developing manufacturing processes intended to improve reliability and shorten lead times. The company plans to scale capacity to 5,000 valves and propulsion components per year.
Building a modular refuelling stack
The larger ambition is to move beyond standalone components.
deltaVision is developing fluidic couplers, utility interfaces and integrated refuelling modules that allow spacecraft to connect, store propellant and transfer fluids in orbit.
Its public roadmap moves from propulsion and thermal-control equipment toward refuelling subsystems, complete modules and eventually orbital fuel depots. The company is positioning the technology as open and interoperable infrastructure rather than a closed system tied to one spacecraft design.
That matters because orbital servicing will only scale if different satellites and refuelling vehicles can connect through compatible interfaces.
Existing aerospace demand provides the foundation
deltaVision serves more than 60 customers across four continents, including startups, established aerospace companies and space agencies.
The company is also supplying approximately 50 products for the European Space Agency’s Argonaut lunar lander program, including closed-loop pressure-regulation subsystems.
This existing component business gives deltaVision a commercial base while its orbital refuelling systems move through longer development and qualification cycles.
Expansion beyond Germany
The new funding will support manufacturing growth, further industrialization and development of integrated fluidic systems.
deltaVision also plans to expand research and production through its new French subsidiary and establish valve-manufacturing capacity in the United States.
The geographic strategy places the company closer to European institutional programs and the larger US commercial space market.
The market signal
Orbital refuelling could change spacecraft economics by extending mission life, enabling more demanding maneuvers and reducing the need to replace otherwise functional satellites when their fuel runs out.
But the market depends on more than fuel depots. It requires qualified valves, couplers, pressure systems and interfaces that work reliably across different vehicles.
deltaVision is betting that the companies controlling this fluid infrastructure will become essential suppliers to the in-orbit servicing economy.
The next test will be moving from high-reliability components into standardized refuelling systems that can operate safely across multiple spacecraft architectures.
