A construction site can lose hours when one electrical fitting, plumbing part or sheet of plywood fails to arrive.
Bengaluru-based Fixxly has raised $5.5 million in Seed funding to reduce that delay. The round was backed by Accel, Fireside Ventures and Lightspeed India Partners. The company will use the capital to strengthen its technology, expand operations and prepare for a commercial launch in Bengaluru on September 1, 2026.
Founded by Shezan Bhojani and Sachith Varma, Fixxly is building a quick-commerce platform for building and home-improvement materials. Customers will be able to order plywood, paint, lighting, electrical equipment, plumbing supplies and hardware for delivery to worksites in as little as 30 minutes.
The platform is aimed at contractors, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, painters, interior designers and homeowners. Many still depend on fragmented local dealer networks, where product availability and delivery times can be difficult to predict. Fixxly plans to use local fulfilment hubs and technology that matches orders with inventory, location and demand.
Bhojani previously co-founded home-interiors company DesignCafe and has spent more than two decades in the sector. Varma brings logistics experience from Zepto and Flipkart, where he worked on supply-chain design and last-mile operations.
The company enters a category where speed alone will not be enough. Building materials vary in size, weight and demand, making inventory accuracy and reliable fulfilment more difficult than grocery delivery.
Fixxly’s next test is proving that AI-powered supply-chain systems can deliver urgent construction materials without creating high logistics costs or inconsistent stock. The round also joins a wider group of Indian startup funding stories focused on digitizing operational industries.
