Inforcer Raises $50M to Secure Microsoft 365 for SMBs

Small businesses are adopting AI faster than many can manage the security risks that follow.

London-based Inforcer has raised a $50 million Series C led by Insight Partners. Existing investors Dawn Capital and Meritech Capital remain backers.

Founded by Jamie Daum, Richard Thompson and William Connor, Inforcer helps managed service providers manage Microsoft 365 security across multiple SMB customers from one platform.

Its software supports Microsoft Defender, Intune, Entra ID, Exchange and Copilot. Inforcer is also expanding into AI governance, Shadow AI detection and active threat response as workplace AI creates new risks for smaller businesses.

The company reports 300% year-over-year growth and has raised about $110 million across three rounds in 18 months. It now employs more than 160 people across the UK, US, Australia, Denmark and the Netherlands.

The new funding will support US expansion and further product development across Microsoft security, AI usage and threat detection.

Inforcer is part of a wider shift toward enterprise AI security and AI governance platforms built for businesses without large internal security teams. The round also adds to growing cybersecurity startup funding focused on protecting everyday AI adoption.

The company’s next challenge is keeping security simple for MSPs as workplace AI becomes harder to control.
