Visoid Raises $2.5M to Scale AI Visualization for Architects

AI-generated images can make architectural ideas easier to visualize. The harder problem is keeping those images consistent with the design architects are actually working on.

Oslo-based Visoid is building around that constraint. Its AI visualization platform works with existing architectural models, turning 3D designs into high-quality visualizations within minutes while preserving the original design intent.

The startup has now raised $2.5 million to accelerate product development and international growth. Skyfall Ventures led the round, with existing investors StartupLab, OBOS and Antler participating alongside new investors Farvatn and byFounders Angel Collective.

Founded in 2023 by former architect Mark Szoke and serial entrepreneur Joachim Holwech, Visoid is positioning AI visualization as part of the design process rather than simply a tool for producing finished images.

That difference defines the product.

Architects can use Visoid while designs are still evolving, helping them visualize and evaluate different concepts without moving away from the underlying architectural model. This approach with general-purpose image generators, where maintaining consistency with an existing project can be more difficult.

The new funding will be used to expand Visoid’s engineering, product and commercial teams, develop additional AI capabilities for architectural workflows, grow its international customer base and deepen partnerships with architecture and design firms.
