Companies spend heavily learning what customers think. The harder problem is keeping that knowledge useful when the next decision arrives.

A study becomes a transcript, the transcript becomes a presentation, and months later another team starts asking a familiar question. Much of the answer may already exist somewhere inside old interviews and research decks.

Conveo was built to stop that reset.

Founded by Dieter De Mesmaeker and Hendrik Van Hove, Conveo has now raised a $50 million Series A as it pushes beyond individual research projects toward continuous consumer understanding.

Its AI moderator can conduct interviews across 50+ languages, adapting follow-up questions to what each participant actually says. Conveo says more than 70% of final insights emerge from AI-generated follow-up probes, while participants give responses three to four times longer than in more structured formats.

The platform also keeps the human evidence visible. Every AI-generated theme can be traced back to a verbatim quote and timestamped video clip, while 83% of participants say they are as open as, or more open than, they would be with a human moderator.

That model is already being used by 400+ enterprise teams, including Google, FOX, Bosch and Reddit. Conveo says studies can move from design to stakeholder-ready output in around three days, with teams reporting substantial cost savings compared with agency-led qualitative programs.

But speed is only the first layer.

Conveo’s searchable research library and StoryLines model allow new studies to build on earlier transcripts, themes and evidence instead of resetting after every project.

De Mesmaeker captures the ambition simply: “We can’t imagine anyone doing it the old way 2 years from now.”

The $50 million Series A is therefore a bet on something larger than faster interviews.

Conveo wants customer research to behave like institutional memory: every conversation adding context, every study strengthening the next, and fewer companies paying to rediscover what their customers already told them.
