Doris Labs has raised $600,000 in pre-seed funding, led by Fuel Ventures, with participation from Manchester Angels and a group of angels from across the B2B software industry.

Doris has built the GTM AI semantic layer that captures everything a sales team learns across calls, emails and documents, and then their agents drive the deal forward – so no deal is lost that should have been won.

In early deployments, Doris has already saved reps 6 hours of admin per week and increased deal velocity by 72% for its first customers.

Doris Labs, the London-based company building the semantic layer for go-to-market teams, today announced it has raised $600,000 in Pre-Seed funding. The round was led by Fuel Ventures, with participation from Manchester Angels and a group of other angels.

Their mission is to ensure no deal is lost that should have been won, by bringing everything a company has ever learned into every deal it does.

Why the knowledge gets lost

Both Hayden (ex-Vertice) and Frazer (ex-Patsnap) have seen first hand that GTM teams already want AI to handle parts of their sales process and to give them a clearer view of their pipeline. The obstacle is that their data sits across eight or more tools, including the CRM, a call recorder and email, and AI models can’t make sense of it in that form.

“We’ve seen it so many times that each deal is treated as if it is siloed from the rest of the GTM – this doesn’t and shouldn’t have to be the case. The answer to any deal is there, just no one knows how to find it – Doris does.” said Hayden Munt, Co-founder and CEO, Doris Labs.

The CRM records the basics such as stage and amount. It doesn’t record what the buyer said on the second call or why the last three similar deals closed. That knowledge lives in recordings, email threads, documents and reps’ heads, and when a rep leaves, it leaves with them.

Unlike single-call AI assistants or dashboards added on top of a CRM, Doris sits underneath the whole GTM stack. It converts unstructured data into a clean, typed structure (an ontology) that people and AI agents can both work from.

Building on that foundation, Doris is launching Sidekicks: always-on partners for every deal, with their own memory and routines. Drawing on everything your company has ever learned from past deals, each Sidekick works alongside your team to get the deal over the line.

“Agents are only as good as the context they get, and today that is one call or a CRM snapshot. Doris gives them the company’s whole GTM history, every deal and every conversation, as one ontology. Our platform, and any MCP-compatible agent can read it.” said Frazer Kearl, Co-founder and CTO, Doris Labs.

Customer impact:

Patently, an AI patent platform used by more than 1,000 teams in 40 countries, uses Doris. Comparing deals created before and after adoption, Patently found that their deals closing within the forecasted timeline increased by 165% and their deal qualification score rose 64%. Patently CRO, Connor O’Shea, stated: ”When a tool starts telling you ‘you’re missing this, you’re missing this’, you start realising how you can fix holes in your own strategy”.

The Investors:

“Hayden and Frazer have lived the problem they’re solving, which has translated into how unique and grounded their approach is. Every sales team is about to put AI agents to work, and those agents are only as good as the context they can reach. Whoever owns the layer that holds that context will matter a great deal, and Doris has already built that foundation.” said Mark Pearson, Founder and Managing Partner, Fuel Ventures.

“Doris caught our attention with a unique approach and credible plan for a huge market. What sealed it was that each angel in our group could point to a moment at their own company where Doris would have made a real difference. That made the investment an easy decision,” said David Levine, Principal, Manchester Angels.

OuterSignal Raises $22M for Agentic Customer Intelligence

An ecommerce brand can know that you spent $186.40, opened three emails, bought twice in six months and used a discount code on your first order. It can still have no idea who you are. OuterSignal was built around that strange imbalance. Modern commerce software remembers transactions exceptionally well, yet the relationship behind those transactions […]

OpenAI Dots: The GPT-6 Astra Agents Designed for Ongoing Work

An early tester did not ask his Dot to check whether he had forgotten to invoice anyone. According to OpenAI, the agent noticed the missing invoice itself, prepared it, then sent it only after the user approved the action. It is a small example buried inside the Dots announcement, but it explains the product more […]

From Chatbots to Autonomous AI Workflows | HumanX 2026

The next enterprise AI failure may not be a hallucination or a rogue agent. It could be much simpler: a company spends millions on AI, celebrates hundreds of pilots and still cannot explain what changed in the business. That tension ran through Charlie Perreau’s conversation with H CEO Gautier Cloix at HumanX Amsterdam. The session […]
