AI agents can build software faster than ever. The harder part is giving them the infrastructure to set up and operate a real business without stitching together dozens of services manually.
Naïve has raised $28.5 million in Series A funding, led by Nexus Venture Partners. Y Combinator, Zetta, Liquid 2, and angel investors including Gokul Rajaram, Apollo.io co-founder Tim Zheng, and former HubSpot COO JD Sherman also participated. The round brings total funding to roughly $32 million.
Co-founded by Sean Dorje and Dennis Zax, Naïve packages payments, email, phone numbers, cloud infrastructure, storage, databases, and company incorporation behind a single API. Developers can connect tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex and let AI agents provision the infrastructure required to launch and run a business.
Agents can create inboxes, virtual cards, phone numbers, databases, computing resources, and integrations with services such as Stripe and QuickBooks. They can also help orchestrate U.S. LLC formation, although users must still complete KYC/KYB checks and required payments. Naïve adds governance controls for budgets, permissions, and human approval before sensitive actions.
The company says it has signed up more than 30,000 developer customers within months of launch. Sean Dorje also said annual run-rate revenue grew 10x over the past six months to the low double-digit millions. Customers are using the platform for businesses ranging from AI automation agencies and online content operations to a rental-car agency. These figures are company-reported.
The new funding will support Naïve’s deeper infrastructure layer, including virtualized agent sandboxes, model routing and inference optimization, memory infrastructure, and governance and orchestration. The company is also developing a serverless runtime aimed at reducing the cost of running large numbers of agents.
